I went to Little Bighorn Battlefield on 9/18. I didn't take any pictures. I wanted to just be in the moment and experience the site. The Native American Memorial almost made me cry.
I drove through one of the reservations earlier in the day. The land there just seems so barren. The history of what happened between the whites and natives is so recent. It's a terrible part of our past. Actually being out here in the West and seeing these sites makes the history come alive.
